Leadership teams

When the strategy looks right on paper and still isn't moving.

Sometimes the strategy isn't the problem. Underneath it there's a priority nobody will drop, two people with different definitions of success, or an assumption the founder hasn't questioned since the business was half the size. Everyone can feel it. Nobody's said it.

I work with founders and leadership teams to get that into the room, safely, and then make choices from it.

Where I'm most useful

  • Founder-led businesses that have outgrown the way they were first run
  • Teams that are busy but pulling in different directions
  • Strategy that isn't turning into what people actually do each week
  • Working out where AI fits in the business, as part of the strategy rather than a separate plan
  • Board and executive conversations that are hard to have from inside

The strategy workshop: a living strategy

1

In the room, together.

We start with the whole picture and work out the core strategy together. This part is fully human thinking time. I use a mountain-climbing picture: the summit you're heading for, the flags along the way, the capabilities you need to be fit enough for the climb, and the culture that gets you over the rough bits. You make the choices. I help you see what's in the way of them.

2

Built to keep working.

Afterwards I turn what we built into an AI strategy brain: a tool your team can ask questions of, test decisions against, and use to brief new people. The strategy stays alive instead of ending up in a slide deck nobody opens.

3

Handed over to you.

I show your leadership team how to question it, challenge it and keep it current. The point is that you don't need me to keep the strategy alive.

Human thinking first, then technology to carry it further. That's Humanise in practice.

For teams that want a baseline first, the Humanise assessment shows where the organisation is strong and where it's exposed before we start.
